Rules & Terms

Terms and Conditions: Colachel International Film Festival

1. Eligibility:
- Films submitted must be feature-length productions with a runtime of over 60 minutes for feature category and 10 minutes for short film category..
- Films from any country or language are welcome, provided they meet the submission guidelines.
- Films must have been completed after a specified date Dec 2021.

2. Submission Guidelines:
- Submitters must complete the official CIFF submission form, providing accurate details about the film.
- Each film must be accompanied by the required submission fee, which is non-refundable.

3. Ownership and Rights:
- By submitting a film to CIFF, the submitter affirms that they hold all necessary rights for the screening and distribution of the film.
- CIFF is granted the right to screen submitted films during the festival and use excerpts for promotional purposes.

4. Selection Process:
- All submitted films will be reviewed by a selection committee appointed by CIFF.
- The decision of the selection committee regarding film acceptance is final and non-negotiable.
- Filmmakers will be notified of the selection results by a specified date.

5. Screening at CIFF:
- Selected filmmakers must provide high-resolution screening copies of their films for exhibition at the festival.
- CIFF will determine the date, time, and venue for film screenings during the festival.

6. Awards and Prizes:
