Midnight is approaching, and while the peak of activity has passed, the passion and vitality of the human continues undiminished, producing the basso continuo of the city’s moan, a monotonous sound that neither rises nor falls but is pregnant with foreboding.
Between the time the last train leaves and the first train arrives, the place changes: it's not the same as in daytime.Time moves in it special way in the middle of the night.

The 90s , Hong Kong, Night

Mou is a young man who come from Japan. He chosen to leave his homeland because he want to forget everything and his past. After Mou was taking a slow boat to Hong Kong , he lived in the shadowy middle ground. He became a professional assassin and work for an underworld gang.

One day, Mou killed a gang leader and some gang members as usual. But after that, one “Idea” had implant in his mind. The “Idea” is fabricated out of thin air. As time goes by, Mou realised that the 'Idea' exist all the time and It had not been discovered before. Mou try to shake off the seemingly unpleasant “Idea”, but he can’t.

Because of the existing of the “Idea”, Mou became exhausting and tired with current lives. He tried to escape and looking for the freedom. He believed he could only find the answer by leaving this city. Unlucky, after Mou finished his last mission, he killed by the somebody.
The first train arrives as usual, time goes back to the daytime, the city is still the city. Everything about Mou is disappeared.
