LE CLIP
'LE CLIP' is a chronicle of memories captured on film by some homies from across the pond. A montage of unscripted compositions meshed together with an original score. An embodiment of the connection amongst youth despite barriers. Entirely conceived and composed in Paris, France.

Aus Taylor:
24 years old. Director raised
in Northeast Baltimore. Austin acquired a taste
for cinema upon viewing Mathieu Kassovitz’s “La
Haine” in high school, becoming extremely
influenced by the theatrically-stylized
approach of film. Following his interest for
cinema, he dove into the works of Inarritu, Park
Chan Wook (Old Boy) & Stanley Kubrick. Although
never attending film school or any
universities, Austin gained much experience
through working as a creative music video
director, both freelance and with different
independent production companies in his teenage
years. When he was 21, Austin moved to France
for some months with his collective & was
forever molded by his endeavors overseas. In
recent years, he has worked on films & music
videos between Baltimore, Los Angeles,
including an experimental film in Paris. Austin
has directed music videos for upcoming acts
such as Masego, JPEG Mafia, Brandon Banks & is
now getting his feet wet in the world of narrative/short films.
