LAST EXIT
Maximilian Werndl started base jumping with a group of friends and acquaintances a few years ago.
The group initially consisted of 10 people. There are now only four left and Maximilian is one of them.
Everyone else had an accident in the sport.
As a filmmaker, I tried to shed light on the perspective of Maximilian's mother Annette Werndl, his girlfriend Claudia Salm and Maximilian Werndl in this short film.
In conversations, we wrote down their fears, worries, but also their attraction in words and integrated them into the film.
Maximilian has dealt with himself and got to the bottom of the question why he practices this sport.
I think with the film we can get people to think.
Bring those who do not understand the sport closer to the motivations, and those who do this sport to get them to reflect and ask about the WHY.
LAST EXIT simply and honestly shows the contrasts in extreme mountain sports.
