Experiencing Interruptions?

L.A. Molly Gray

This is a comedy short which spoofs film noir crime films. Loosely based on "Peaky Blinders," Molly Gray, the great granddaughter of Polly Gray, is a female gangster in Los Angeles involved in shady dealings with filmmakers. An assassin wants to move in on her territory. Experimental short using vintage analog video cameras and a 60 year old 8mm film camera for a grainy film noir look.

Director Statement

I love the Cinematic Arts. I want to gather people to become characters that tell stories. I am coming at this late in the game, but hope to produce more to share in the future. My current project, "Time Exposure," has begun production with scenes filmed in Berlin and Northern California.
