Krupa

Krupa is a video dance that depicts the plight of our fellow inhabitants of the planet. While the narrative follows violence towards animals, cruelty and fight for compassion seems a universal problem across all living beings.

Director Biography - Ranjani Prasad

Ranjani Prasad is a filmmaker currently based in Toronto, Ontario. A storyteller from India, her narrative style is deeply influenced by her cultural experiences. After an eventful Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Media, Ranjani started her entrepreneurial journey by gaining an MBA in Film Production. She started her professional career as a Public Relations Consultant at a leading firm. She moved to a production house as their Creative Producer.

She came to Vancouver to pursue the film production program at the prestigious Vancouver Film School. Her final project 'The Man on the Stairs' was chosen to premiere at the Whistler Film Festival.
