Eric's experience includes musical theatre (Rent, Cinderella, Shrek the Musical, Kinky Boots, etc) and short films (Wishing, A Cova).

This is Eric's second time directing a film after "Piano Man" in 2023.

Director Statement

The idea for Kroler came to me upon finding an old frame by the bins on the street. As a natural storyteller I though, what story could come from this?

I had been wanting to write a horror film for a while, and I just knew this was the moment. So very quickly Kroler came to be. A story about a frame, hiding something evil behind it.

Not only a full feature film came out of it, but a trilogy of films around this frame and the monster that lives within it. Because of my early days of my filmmaker career, I knew there was no way I could get this project of three or even just one feature started, but I managed to write something aside to produce a short horror film from it, which is this one we see here!

Kroler (short film) is what id call a proof of concept. A tease into the story of "The Kroler" and what it could be. Maybe one day I'll be able to produce the feature and tell the full story around this mysterious frame, but until then, this film will serve as a reference of anything to come for it.

I hope that all viewers enjoy and appreciate our short film. Something else has moved in...
