Kristy Louise Sokol was born to Sigmund Anthony Sokol and Judy Elizabeth Sokol in Iowa City, Iowa on March 12th, 1975; with two older brothers. Of her five nieces, her second niece is actress Kathryn Sokol. Kristy is a born-again Christian, married under God to Jamie Wayne Clark in 2021. She was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and a vestibular disorder in 2016. She was awarded SSI disability in 2018.

Kristy lived with her parents for most of her life until she married. Her mom died in 2012. Kristy consoled and continued living with her widowed dad. Throughout the years, she learned about unconditional love and what it takes to be married by seeing it every day in her parents' home. Judy and Tony were married 45 years.

Kristy won four awards in arts and home-ec during high school, one of which was the yearly-award plaque. She was voted 'Most Unique' in her senior class. Kristy hopes to pursue a career in textile-design, fabric.
