Kristina Cetinski is a Sydney/Wollongong-based Writer, Director, and Film Editor. Her work often explores themes of self-discovery and the ephemeral beauty and strangeness of the human experience, using comedy as a lens to delve into these concepts. Her style is irreverent, whimsical, existential, and heartfelt.

Kristina’s 2024 short film You’ve Gotta Be Kidding Me has met the acclaim of her mentors and peers and will soon be touring on a festival circuit across Sydney, the South Coast, and beyond.

Her 2021 directorial debut Get Off the Grass was screened at Sydney Underground Film Festival 2021, and at Short + Sweet Illawarra Film Festival 2021, where it ranked as a semi-finalist. The short will be returning to Short + Sweet Illawarra Film Festival in 2024 as part of the festival’s V Series, featuring stand-out works from previous years.

Kristina has edited all her own films, and has also edited for clients including SMASH! Anime Convention, Young Actors Assembly, and multiple Wollongong-based cafes.
