Director Biography - Jeka Yanev

My name is Jeka Yanev, I'm 26 years old from Ukraine. I am a former athlete, I have been professionally engaged in freestyle wrestling for 10 years. I grew up in an incomplete and unsecured family and all the time dreamed of doing something related with movie, as I love it so much, but due to the lack of finances, it was not possible to study at a suitable university.
After a long period of time, I raised money to enter the KAMA (Kyiv Academy of Media and Arts) course of filmmaking . This course lasts 4 months and during this time I proved myself like the best aspiring director.
At the moment, I am interested in creating music videos, as I believe that I can do what no one else in Ukraine. My goal is to create my own unique and inimitable style, which I can be recognized all over the world.
