Kopenawa: The Amazon Forest Shaman
The documentary "Kopenawa: The Amazon Forest Shaman” echoes the voice of Davi Kopenawa Yanomami, indigenous leader and defender of the Amazon. With archival footage and the participation of Brazilian personalities, the film offers a poetic look at the ancestry and challenges of the Yanomami people. Davi, a shaman and global activist, reflects on the impact of invasions on indigenous territories, the climate change, and the future of humanity.
