After working extensively in visual media, stepping into the world of audio storytelling felt like an exciting and natural next chapter. We wanted to create something intimate and accessible—a story that could reach people anywhere, without the limitations of a screen. The audio-only format offers listeners an unmatched sense of immersion, inviting them to create the visuals in their own minds and, in turn, feel more deeply connected to the characters and world we’ve crafted.
At its core, this podcast delves into the importance of family and the courage it takes to face your fears. Through the journey of Anne and Caleb as they search for their missing dog in a mysterious, cursed land filled with witches and mermaids, we wanted to balance suspense with a comforting sense of safety—a space where listeners can feel a little thrill, a little danger, but ultimately trust in the story’s warmth.
We hope listeners are swept up in this adventure, perhaps even finding reflections of their own lives. Family, after all, isn’t perfect; there are moments of tension and disagreement, but there’s also an unbreakable bond that brings us back to each other. If this podcast can inspire even a small sense of love and understanding for our families—and a realization that everyone’s family has its challenges—then we’ve succeeded.
Anne and Caleb’s journey is a labor of love, capturing themes we believe resonate universally. We hope it draws listeners in, both to the world of audio storytelling and to a place of personal reflection.
