Audience Choice
Caleb has been a film lover his whole life. He made his first award-winning short, High School: A Survival Guide, when he was 17. Since then he has made two feature films and is in the writing process for his first television series. In the mean time he has been busy making shorts of all shapes, sizes, and genres.
This film was originally developed for the Chicago 48 Hour Film Project. Knock Knock is a testament to simplicity and kitchen sink filmmaking. With a skeleton crew, bare bones gear and minimal time, I wanted to create a piece that boiled fear down to some of its core tenets: deprivation of the senses and its inherent lead to feelings of isolation. Besides some minor audio fixes, the film remains untouched since the 48hour project.
