Director Biography - Andrés Guerrero

Born and raised in a household of five competitive boys in Jackson, Michigan, Andrés' first love was movies and the art of filmmaking. Upon graduating film school at the Motion Picture Institute of Troy, Michigan he took home an award for Best Film for his thesis student film, with his lead actors winning Best Lead Actor and Best Lead Actress.

Director Statement

Growing up with an Honduran father and American mother really diversified my interests and artistic taste. Watching foreign films wasn't an abnormal pastime for me, and neither was watching films 100 years my senior. I simply loved/love studying how in a world where so many things are evolving, the way of filmmaking and storytelling finds way to adapt to the evolving times all while keeping enough of the same basic principles
