Beyond the Bridge is Kim's first documentary. Her passion for story blossomed as a child reading books, watching movies, and writing her own stories and plays. She has practiced storytelling as a grant writer, journalist, performance artist, poet, photographer, fundraiser, researcher, and entrepreneur. Most recently, Kim served as Associate Director of the Centers for Research on Creativity, founded in Los Angeles by Dr. James Catterall. She holds a Master's degree in Creativity Studies from SUNY Buffalo and lives in Topanga, California.
