Kick the Bucket List

Before they have to move away, Carter decides they have to finish the remaining tasks on the bucket list they made with their friend Frankie. Still reeling from the funeral and accompanied by Frankie's memory, Carter visits special places and relives moments they shared together, checking off tasks as they go. Each moment culminates to Carter's perfect goodbye before they board the bus toward the next chapter of their life.

Director Biography - Mars Morrison

MARS MORRISON is an emerging editor and filmmaker from Mt.Brydges, ON, currently based in North Bay, ON. They are attending Canadore College for their final year in the Digital Cinematography program. Mars' most recent film, 'Kick the Bucket List' (2024), is the second that they have written/directed/edited, succeeding their other short 'Poetry & Punctuality' (2023). Mars has a variety of experience in different roles, but is most interested in editing and post production. They plan to continue professionally in media and editing following graduation from Canadore College in 2024.
