Dear Selection Committee!

We are pleased to present to you our student documentary film Kharkiv Story. This film is primarily about the mentality of Ukrainians - their ability not to lose their heads, to unite, despite all the horrors of war, and to think about the future recovery right now.
The film tells the story of Kharkiv today: a peaceful city with war wounds, the destroyed center, the famous Northern Saltovka, which, no matter how difficult it is, is gradually recovering from the arrival of the "russian world."
The film's protagonists are ordinary Kharkiv residents who just keep living in the present, enjoying life and, despite the air raids and almost daily shelling by the Russian army, dreaming of the future.
Our creative association Feelmakers decided to tell you this story because we believe that the truth about the war should be known, but our goal is to show what is perhaps the most important feature of Ukrainians - their faith in the future, which is described by the film's characters.
The epigraph of our film is the key phrase of one of the characters: "It's a shame to be unhappy when you're alive."
We share and support the hero's opinion, believe in the victory of Ukraine and wish you a pleasant and thoughtful viewing!

Sincerely yours,
feelmakers creative association
