Keys

Keys exposes Danxgerous' fragilities by telling through a dreamy and nuanced vocality the fears and hesitations of a girl entering adulthood, facing this great change that inevitably brings within itself the fear of changing and no longer recognizing herself as a person: «The fear of losing the key that can open your doors, as a metaphor for the aspects of your character that you are proud of, your passions, your authenticity, your feelings».

"I wrote this song a few years ago, about disillusionment, growing up and losing things along the way. The song itself is now becoming the keys I was looking for.
it’s a tune for ugly dancing and crippling depression, about the struggle of not meeting expectations and being too nostalgic." - Danxgerous

Director Biography - Giulia Hrvatin

I'm a freelance photographer, director and visual storyteller from Rome.

My body of work consists in various projects where I explore the human nature through movement and dance, using different mediums. Every story comes from a deep and intimate place, but most of the time it ends up exploring universal themes.

I graduated in Cinema & Visual Arts at the University of Roma Tre, and then took my diploma at Scuola Romana di Fotografia e Cinema (a three year long master in Photography). After that I was selected for an internship at Paolo Pellegrin Studio and I attended different workshops and courses with artists and curators.
