Kerri Garrett - a tastefully quirky, queer Black Pisces sun hailing from Columbus, Ohio. Her love for sweet potatoes and thrifting knows no bounds. In 2015, she ventured to Atlanta, Georgia, earning a Theatre Arts degree from Clark Atlanta University. A freelance multidisciplinary artist since then, Kerri boasts acting credits in productions like The Bluest Eye, Sorry About That, and School Girls; Or The African Mean Girls Play. Trained as a dancer, she's worked with choreographers such as Jaquel Knight, Kiki Ely, and Jeremy Green, performing with artists like Kanye West, Rick Ross, and Ari Lennox. As a producer and director, Kerri has lent her creative touch to Sonos, Telfar TV, BET, Refinery 29, and more. Her dance film series, Longshot Atlanta, received acclaim at the Vancouver Queer Film Festival, ATL Film Party, and earned national syndication on RevoltTV. In 2023, Kerri had the honor of being part of the inaugural cohort of GLAAD's Black Queer Creative Summit.She’s a grant recipient of Idea Capital, A&E Atlanta, Fulton County Arts & Culture, Wussy Mag, and more.
