Kelley has received recognition as Best Short Horror Screenplay for her pilot - The Lioness Kills Tonight, at the 2022 Southern Horror Film Festival. She was also a Quarter Finalist in the 2022 Boston Comedy Horror Film Festival for her Script Sophia's Carol, which also was an official selection at the 2022 Short Sweet Film Festival, and also won Best Comedy Script at the 2021 Georgia Shorts Film Festival. She received recognition at the 2019 Atlanta Comedy Film Festival for her sit-com pilot, The Estrogen Squad, which was also an official selection in the 2021 Women's Comedy Film Festival. She created Sophia Gardeen as part of a supernatural web series entitled Ghost Wanderers. The Ghost Wanderers pilot that she wrote and produced was a finalist in the 2018 Reel Time International On-Line Film Festival.
Kelley also writes monologues and coaches demo reels for Acting Out Studios. She and her husband, Max, recently launched their coaching website Creative Actors Lab. She has finished writing a paranormal murder mystery based on the Ghost Wanderers Characters entitled The Lioness Kills Tonight and is currently working on her second novel. She is also turning The Lioness Kills Tonight into a series. Currently, she is working on another pilot and a full-length screenplay. She also co-wrote a holiday screenplay in 2022.
