Katelin's Story
16 year old Katelin Gunn's life changed forever in December 2018 when the car she and two of her school friends were driving in suddenly rolled, leaving her with life threatening injuries.
When Katelin eventually woke up in hospital, the doctor delivered the devastating news that she was paralysed from the waist down.
But it wasn't the end, it was the start of a new beginning...
Since that day, Katelin has fought with all her might to be the person she's proud to be today - strong, brave, focused, measured, loving, apirational and grateful to be alive.
This is an incredible story of will power and raw determination to defy the odds and overcome.
Don't tell Katelin she can't do something...

Callum is first and foremost a storyteller.
Graduating from university with journalism degree, Callum spent the first four years of his media career working as TV reporter around Australia.
In this vocation he told thousands of stories of loss, pain, injustice, hope and innovation, while getting first hand experience with the ugly side of society.
After losing a close friend to suicide in 2019, Callum was inspired to launch the video podcast 'Young Blood - Men's Health Matters', a platform for young men to share their experiences of mental health struggles.
This project led Callum to found, Young Blood Media, a business specialising in creating inspiring, impactful stories through video, including mini-documentary making.
Callum thoroughly believes in the power of a good story well told and is passionate about seeking out and bringing to light those that deserve to be shared with the world.
It was an honour to tell Katelin's story of resilience in the depth and quality that it deserves.
Her incredible spirit of determination is an inspiration to all and it was deeply moving to witness the positive impact this film made on her and her community.
Too often those living with disabilities are marginalized and overlooked in our society. To be able to show people that Katelin is as strong as anyone was a truly powerful thing.
