I've wanted to be a Director since I was a kid, with idols like Alfred Hitchcock and Fritz Lang who can make the audience feel deeply with little to no dialogue. I realised I wanted to do that too with the magic that is visual storytelling.
I want to tell stories that mean something to the audience, something that gets under their skin that they are still thinking about long after the film is over. This is why horror films appeal to me the most. Horror is a genre that allows you to explore complex issues reflective of the zeitgeist in which it's made.
I've worked on over 20 projects in various roles in student, professional and commercial productions. Of those, I have directed 4 projects (2 Co-Directed with my film partner) with Innermost being my first short film as a solo Director.
