Ellie Gravitte is an award winning filmmaker based in New York City. She was the winner of the first ever ABC Women's Initiative, where a commercial idea that she pitched was selected for production at ABC Entertainment Marketing. Gravitte later went on to win a Promax Gold Award for her work directing the commercial in support of the hit show, A Million Little Things.
Gravitte also works part time as an established editor, which serves her directing work immensely. She was a finalist for Newfest's 2022 New Voices Filmmaker Grant, and was awarded a $20,000 cash prize for her second place film in the realtor.com WE BOUGHT A HOUSE Competition. She is passionate about centering queer stories in her work, and holds strongly to the belief that artists will be the ones who save the world.
