Karkhanu
‘Karkhnau’ unfolds as Gujarat's first ever Smart Horror Comedy, where the spooky legend of the “Haunted Factory” comes to life. On the night of Kali Chaudas, three innocent carpenters get trapped in a ghostly workshop. As the night goes on, a series of bizarre and weirdly humorous events unfold and scare the shit out of them. As the time races against them, they must unravel the mystery of the haunted factory or else, face the deadly outcome. Will they escape from the devil of this spectral tale, or become part of the folklore themselves? Wait a minute… is it actually happening or it’s just a theatrical production?

Rushabh Thanki, co-writer and director of 'Karkhanu', completed his early education in Porbandar before moving to Ahmedabad. His passion for filmmaking began in college, leading to a strong background in short films, ad films, and corporate videos. His short film, 'The Home Full of Stories', was praised for its innovative use of a still camera throughout, highlighting his unique storytelling approach. Rushabh remains dedicated to exploring new ways of storytelling, continually bringing fresh ideas to the screen.
Karkhanu is more than a horror-comedy; it’s a sharp satire on the routine commercialization of cinema, challenging the boundaries of what truly defines this art form.
