The name Kargil is still associated with being a warzone. However, the war is long over and we are yet to overcome it. Through Kargil International Film Festival (KargilIFF), we aim to bridge that vacuum and globally showcase the beautiful, unexplored paradise of Kargil. First KargilIFF was held in May 2012 and after a period of 5 years, we are rebooting this film festival. We want to showcase good cinema to the people of Kargil and inspire them into the art of film-making.
