Karen Kaplan has won the 2021 HEMINGWAY AWARD at THE LA LIVE FILM FESTIVAL for writing her screenplay CONJOINED: A HOLOCAUST HAUNTING, based on her book CONJOINED: A HOLOCAUST HAUNTING... One Man, Two Hearts, and Me. She is internationally renown, as an author and speaker and shared her memoir in several cities in Germany, August 2016 including a physician’s conference titled: Refugees,Trauma and Reconciliation. She has been featured on WGN-TV Chicago morning news, Bialystok, Poland TV news, WIND Radio, Mental Health News Radio, Cologne, Germany DO radio, cable shows, The New Yorker, Broadway World, The Riverdale Press and The Bronx Times.
