Kanyaratna

A young lady (Shantabai) serving as maid servant in a doctor family. She has one daughter 5 years old , she s not going to school because of their poverty. But sita is very smart & good knowledge compare to her friends. Doctor family impressed on sita because of her smartness & interest to study & decided to put her in school. Sita is completing her 10th with highest marks in school. Her mother is proposing her to get married immediately at the age of 16. Doctor family advised her “not to marry her now & it is against the law & you have to think about your daughter’s future” etc. but shantabai is not accepting she believes it is better to get married now, may not come again such a good proposal.
Finally she got married but after one year her hus expired & she has become widow. At that time she was pregnant for 1 month. Slowly sita’s inlaws came to know she is pregnant & they get checked up & came to know a girl child is there. They are planning to get aborted, but sita is escaping from inlaws house for her child’s safety.
After birth of her child (pinky), 6 months, she started to do job as peon in on office. There her boss fall in love due to her character & situation & proposing her to marry but she is rejecting & revealing that if any ambition is remaining with her that is to upgrade her education & to get a good job & further to look after her daughter well. Her boss has impressed on her & agreed to continue her education & sita has become Asstt.collector & finalised to marry with boss.
Here through this film I want to give message that Fist of all we should not make any difference in between boy & girl, should not any different plaftform. We have to give equal status. We should welcome with happy to birth of a girl child.
Secondly to all girls & their parents: before marriage a girl should have average education so that if any unhealthy situation comes she may be able to withstand on her foot.
Thirdly we have to help for education of girls depend on their interest or needy or we have to convince the girls & their parents. Atleast a few of us takes this decision in our mind definitely our whole ladies in India will become literate & capacity to withstand on their foot.
