"Kantapada" village is a few hours travel away from my institute. And just like any small hamlet, has many remarkable stories of courage and compassion to tell. Me and my colleague, Mr. Padmalocahn Pradhan, who is a resident of the village, has been planning to document the village for quite some time now. I am delighted that we were able to visit the village last month, and that we were able to finally address its issues and concerns through the documentary that we have produced. Without Padalochan's assistance, none of this would have been possible. I owe him a debt of gratitude for allowing me to stay in his home and for showing me around his lovely village.
