Je m’appelle Kamdeu Steve Wilfried. Je suis né et ai grandi au Cameroun, mon pays. J'ai été élevé par une mère célibataire et mes frères m'ont donné le goût de la lecture très jeune. Je me passionne pour l'écriture, raconter des histoires, puis me lance dans les images en mouvement et le cinéma.
Je réside actuellement à Yaoundé. En autodidacte, je suis devenu scénariste et auteur réalisateur. J'ai plusieurs courts-métrages de fiction à mon actif en tant qu'auteur-réalisateur:

My name is Kamdeu Steve Wilfried. I was born and raised in Cameroon, my country in a single-parent fami- ly, where my mother is the head of the family. Thanks to my older brothers, who were fond of comics, I had a childhood and adolescence marked by a strong taste for reading. After my scientific baccalaureate, I star- ted a university course which I stopped. Self-taught, I became a scriptwriter and a young writer-director.
I realized several short films as a writer and director:
"You and Me" (2017), Winner of the short film competition 10 Jours pour 1 Film 2017, an initiative by Festival Ecrans Noirs et Goethe-Institut Cameroon.
