Shrimaan, a 4th grade student has passion for drawing and arts, where as his father doesn’t like him to do all those and scolds him saying that those will not fetch him bread and butter. Instead tells him to show interest in education which may get him a good job. Shrimaan challenges his father to earn money through his drawings. He fetches few chalk pieces from school and draws Mahatma Gandhiji’s picture on road. Few people sees that and drops only few pennies. Chakradhar Rao, a businessman passes through the same road notices the picture drawn, stops and appreciates the talent the boy has. He gives him Rs.500/- and his visiting card.

That incident gives that boy lot of confidence and moral support which in future lead him to join in Fine Arts College to pursue his bachelor’s degree in Arts and Painting. He meets a girl Jyothi who along with him doing her bachelor’s degree in Architecture in the same campus. Jyothi loves Shrimaan for the talent he has and even Shrimaan lover her. One fine day Jyothi reveals her love for Shrimaan to her father. He rejects the proposal saying that she can’t love a mere artist being a millionaire’s daughter and blackmail her to forget him.

A twist in Shrimaans life takes place at that juncture, where he meets an art promoter and curator ‘Chitra’. Even she loves Shrimaan for the talent he has and his paintings. She wanted to support him and even wanted to be his life partner.
