KUTLING
In a moment of spontaneity a young waiter writes a note on the back of a bill for two young women. His spontaneous gesture catches the attention of the entire cafe but what follows is a spiral of tragic consequences.
KUTLING is a haunting exploration of modern apathy—where the true price of bravery is revealed.

While largely self-taught, I sought formal training at a film school in Eastern Denmark to refine my skills as a Director of Photography and it was at this school I realized that my true calling lies in directing.
I grew up in a separated family and navigated through constant change and limited time with my parents. Solitude shaped my perspective, fostering a deep appreciation for the power of storytelling.
Now I can proudly say that my unique style has been tested, pushed and reshaped into a skillset I never thought imaginable and it has led me to KUTLING - my latest baby as a director.
With KUTLING, I saw an opportunity to tell a "slice of life" story that highlights the subtle but powerful shift between generations. By focusing on an everyday setting—a café, where moments often pass unnoticed—I wanted to create a film that speaks to the quiet tension and disconnect that exists between people today. This story is about empathy, courage, and indifference in an increasingly detached world.
Visually, I have grand ambitions for the film. Through thoughtful framing and atmospheric design, I aim to reflect the complexity of the characters’ relationships and the world they inhabit. The interactions between our characters will feel real yet surreal, as their actions begin to reveal larger truths about our society.
