Konstantinos Ioakeimidis was born in 1972 in Agios Konstantinos Agrinio, by parents of refugee origin. He studied cinema and television and has worked as an editor at ERT SA, Mega Channel and other production companies having edited news, commercial videos, dozens of episodes of shows, documentary series shown at festivals and at ERT. His first short film, which was also his degree project, is "My Mother's Profession" https://vimeo.com/64626405 and was adapted from Bost's homonymous short story. He directed the documentary film "Boudalia" about a group of young people in a small village in Crete, who create culture through a cheerful revue, which participated in the international festivals of Thessaloniki, Chania, Ierapetra, Tokyo. Today he is finishing a new feature length documentary directed and produced by himself.
