KINTSUGI

In the serene town of Jarabacoa, a young woman named Paula shares a deep bond with her grandmother, a skilled craftswoman. After her grandmother’s passing, Paula is consumed by grief, while her family chooses to bury the pain in silence. A heated confrontation leads to the accidental shattering of a vase her grandmother lovingly crafted for her—a turning point that drives Paula into isolation.
Days later, Paula discovers a surviving fragment of the vase inscribed with the words: "Everything can be beautiful again, even after being broken." Inspired, she begins to painstakingly rebuild the vase with golden fragments, embracing its imperfections as a testament to resilience and healing.
As Paula reconstructs the vase, she embarks on her own journey of emotional restoration, finding beauty in the cracks of her grief. The story culminates with Paula standing in her grandmother’s cherished spot, holding the transformed vase, as the words resonate: "Sometimes, rebuilding what we love helps us rebuild ourselves."
