An Egyptian filmmaker, tour guide, and PhD researcher,Nora is deeply committed to preserving and sharing Egypt’s rich cultural heritage. Since 2015, she has pioneered stop-motion animation as a powerful means of connecting young audiences with the ancient world, creating short films that bring historical narratives to life. Her dedication to heritage education, coupled with her innovative approach, earned her a spot at the Jesuit Animation School, where she graduated in 2020 with her film Threads and Ears. In every project, she aims to make heritage not just accessible but captivating, using her background as a tour guide and academic researcher in heritage education to bridge the gap between Egypt’s past and future generations. Through her work, she aspires to be a visual voice of Egyptian heritage, inspiring the young and breathing life into the stories of those who can no longer speak.
