Simona de Angelis knows the filmmaking sphere in all of
its details. There is hardly a department she has not yet
worked in. Her credits covering everything from directing,
cinematography, editing, animation and production to
acting. Her collaborations include names such as Paul
Haggis, Ridley Scott, Michael Bay, Robert de Niro and
Keanu Reeves. On top of her expertise as a filmmaker, it
is de Angelis’ precise view on the social and political entanglements
and their artistic conveyance, which is – in
all its radical nature – always poetic.
