On the theme of 'New Opportunities Presented by AI', the festival aims to support the creation of video contents utilizing generative AI and explore the path of content creation and the possibility of win-win development in the AI era.

26 finalists will be selected and awarded with the total prize of 81,000,000 KRW
- Grand Prize (1) : 20,000,000(KRW)
- 1st place per session (4) : 7,000,000(KRW)
- 2nd place per session (4) : 3,000,000(KRW)
- 3rd place per session(16): 1,000,000(KRW)
- Special Prize (Global South)(1): 5,000,000(KRW)

The 'Korea International AI Film Festival is hosted by Gyeonggi Province and organized by Gyeonggi Content Agency.

1) Narrative Contents : Films/videos with narratives created by generative AI
2) Documentary Contents: Documentary videos created using generative AI
3) Arts&Culture Contents: Art, Music, and Dance videos created with generative AI
4) Free Format Contents: Genre-independent videos created with generative AI

4. Submission Period
-August 1, 2024 ~ September 6, 2024, 24:00 (KST)

5. Requirements
(Requirements for Works Utilizing Generative AI)
The video must be created using generative AI technology in a meaningful way.
- All or a significant portion of the video must be created with generative AI technology.
- The AI technology used and the scenes and fields utilized must be described in the application form.

(Ground Requirements)
- Running time should be around 10 minutes (minimum 90 seconds)
-Festival premiere is not required, but priority will be given to premieres
-No restrictions concerning the year of production
- Entrants can submit one work in each category.
-No restrictions on country, gender, or age of entrants (however, only the winners will be officially invited to the event and have no problem entering and staying in Korea)

6. How to Submit
- Fill out the 'Submission Form 1 - Entry Application Form' and hand it in via email to : aiff@gcon.or.kr (or gaif@gcon.or.kr)
-Or, Submit to the application platform separately announced by the host institution

7. Documents to be submitted
Entrants must submit each of the following documents via email (aiff@gcon.or.kr), and any omission or misstatement of any document will be at the Entrant's own risk.
- Entry form (including personal information collection and use agreement, participant pledge, copyright & license confirmation)

8. How to Submit Videos
The video for the screening should be submitted by filling in the URL that can be viewed using online video platforms such as Vimeo, YouTube, etc. in the application form.
- For video security, we recommend private uploading or password protection, and if password protection is used, please include the password on documents.
- Entries must be available by October 4, 2024, when judging ends.
- Entries must be with Full HD or higher quality (preferably 16:9 aspect ratio).
- The content of the screening videos must be identical to the one of the main festival film, and no editing is permitted after the submission deadline.
- Screening videos must have English subtitles if there is narration or dialogue.
