Angela went to Purdue University for her BA and she majored in broadcasting journalism. As for her masters, she studied Entertainment law as well as Film/TV producing. She worked in Fox West sports for several years, and she is now in the process of making her short turned into a feature.
I shot this film to raise the awareness that it is ok not to be ok, and it is ok to ask for help, when needed. Mental illnesses should not be a taboo subject as it is in Korea as well as many other countries. It is heartbreaking to see that Korea (where I am originally from) has one of the highest suicidal rate, and the common reason is due to depression, and those who are getting treated is only 15% due to stigma attached.
In addition, I also wanted to highlight the difference between parents and children's showing loves using my own personal experiences; growing up as 1.5 generation living in overseas.
I'd like to contribute to the changes
