Just A Little While Longer
Nala and Kevin, a happy couple, sit at their favorite spot, the dock, reminiscing about how they met and what events took place to bring them to where they are today and we soon find out that everything is not what it seems.
Nala, confident and joyful, meets Kevin, a mechanic who has deep wounds from his past. They meet on the dock that her family owns. She looks out for the dock because it is her favorite and most peaceful spot in the world. She is insistent on getting to know Kevin better but not just because he’s at her dock but because little does he know she already knows who he is. He’s her lifesaver. Although resistant to hang out, Kevin finally agrees too and in doing so finds himself connecting with Nala to the point he falls in love with her.
As time goes on, they become a couple and eventually, move in together. Kevin, excited to have love and stability in his life again, is ready to take the next step in his relationship with Nala. He buys the roses, makes the dinner reservations, and everything for this special day he has planned but that very same day he finds out news that shows him Nala wants to leave the relationship. Distraught, confused, and hurt he confronts her, it creates an argument that gets so out of control that some things cannot be taken back. Is their love strong enough to keep them together or will the price of one saved life cost another soul? Or both?

Aerospace Design Engineer by day, Filmmaker by night. I've had a passion for film since I was a child. My journey into film started with screenwriting, I would create short stories, skits, and scripts whenever I would get the chance. When I picked up a camera to bring them to life, my journey as a director began. I have worked on multiple student films to learn and grow in creating my own films. I have also had the pleasure of working behind the stage and on the stage for musical and theatrical productions as an assistant stage manager and actor for two years. As an independent filmmaker, I have stepped into the role of not only Director and Screenwriter but Director of Photography, Producer, Sound Mixer, and Editor as well. Learning all the essentials of production has made me a stronger filmmaker.
