Just A Phone Call Away

Tyler has been living with minor depression and anxiety for quite some time with no willpower to improve his quality of life. One day he comes home from work and sees on the news that the country is going into a covid lockdown. It’s not until then that he is forced to face his struggles with mental health.

Tara goes into the lockdown with a bit of an optimistic mindset. Working from home in quarantine will surely relieve some stress and make time for things he wants to do. But as time goes on, his daily routine in isolation takes a turn for the worst. Living alone and being alone every single day for months makes him slowly lose his mind. His optimism fades away and he becomes extremely depressed, lonely, and anxious that nothing will ever be the same.

I think this story is something people will be able to connect with. Even if you don't struggle with mental health, everyone had to go through lockdown. Some of the obstacles and emotions Tyler had to face, I think people can put themselves in his shoes or at least be empathetic.
