Julissa Padilla has an immense passion for film making, particularly anything that has to do with the past and pop culture.
Ever since she was a child, she had been fascinated with animation and the process behind making a still image come to life. During Middle and High school, she would spend her free time drawing and learning about film history. She is fascinated by film makers such as Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton, Erich Von Stroheim, Steven Speilberg, John Hughes just to name a few.
While attending Woodbury University, she was able to continue her passion with film making but towards animation. It wasn't until her Junior year where she decided to expand her choice of media which also includes learning about the process of making live action films and documentaries.
She is currently working on her personal screenplays, and working for Jerry Beck for his Animation Scoop. She continues working towards her next step in her career in the amazing world of film.
