Juan José Rojas was born in Mexico City on August 11, 1994. Throughout his career, he has embarked on a constant journey to merge visual art with human psychology, creating experiences that are not only seen but also felt. Since the age of 14, his passion for animation led him to immerse himself in the world of moving images, and over time, he has become a filmmaker with a unique vision.
Throughout his career, Juan José has worked on a wide variety of projects, including 3D animation, music videos, commercials, corporate videos, short films, and feature films. Always seeking to go beyond the surface, his goal is to provoke, excite, and connect. His visual style is clean, direct, and, above all, deeply human. Whether in comedy, surrealism, or suspense, his focus is on telling stories that not only entertain but also invite reflection.
With more than 10 short films directed and over 50 productions under his belt, his work has been showcased and recognized at international festivals such as Venice, Morelia, and Cannes, among others. However, what truly sets Juan José apart is not just his technical skill, but his ability to genuinely connect with the audience. Each project is an opportunity to explore what makes us human, what moves us, and what transforms us.
His academic background, which includes a degree in Psychology, a specialization in Cinematographic Direction, and a Master's in Marketing, has allowed him to understand not only how to create impactful images but also how to craft stories that resonate deeply with those who experience them.
Today, in addition to continuing his career as a filmmaker, Juan José also shares his experience with new generations. As a teacher of cinematography, directing, and post-production, he is committed to continuous learning, with the goal of inspiring and training others so that, like him, they can transform ideas into memorable experiences.
