Freelance video editor/producer presently working remotely across the globe, though generally based in Greece, looking for opportunities worldwide.

Most recently I have shot, produced and edited two short films, both which are presently screening at film festivals and local theatres in the U.S., France, London and other locations. My short film "An Iraqi Belly Dancer" is screening at the East End Film Festival in London; and my other short film "Unbroken Paradise" is screening in Bordeaux independently at various locations.

As a filmmaker, I have a keen eye for what feels and looks right in cinema and I understand one single frame can make or spoil a video; as a journalist, I have an insatiable desire for people's stories and know how to convey a narrative in a way that fits today's media landscape.

Though I love reporting and writing, lately the bulk of my work has centered on producing and editing videos. In the past I edited a video on how climate change is impacting indigenous communities in the U.S., interviewed PBS NewsHour science correspondent Miles O'Brien on why science reporting is important, covered the White House Easter Egg Roll, and the Global Entrepreneurship Summit Department of State's GIST Competition, among others.

Most recently I've worked with ActForRef (Action Internationale d'Aide aux Refugies) and FEOX in France and Greece documenting the experience of Syrian refugees through short videos.
