I write to bring healing, not division. But sometimes the healing in the writing causes some division.
Joshua Leomiti was born in Long Beach, California. Dedicating five years of his life to the caring of his ill grandmother whom suffered a massive stroke, he slowly picked up his goals in acting and writing after her passing on Mother's Day of 2016. His grandmother was one of his greatest supporters.
Since then, he has worked on a few Independent Shorts. One short called "Patrick" landed him a Bronze Award for Best Duo-Acting accredited by the Independent Short Awards. He has also been in numerous of student short films from: USC, UCLA, The Los Angeles Film School, The New York Film Academy, California State University of Northridge, College of the Canyons, etc. Starring in his first future film "Sosefina" set to release in 2021, he continues to grow as an Artist - always remembering his grandmother. With that, he landed on Shutterfly's 20th Anniversary, (Real Customers Stories), in 2019, in plated memories with his Grandmother's face on the plate, itself.
He has currently produced his first written Pilot, (Episodic), entitled: Tapu - which is a series based on true events and a controversy at it's finest. However, this is the "healing" that he believes that needs to be spoken about as the story is from a males prospective in the Tapu (taboo), topic.
