Joshua Gaestel is an Emmy nominated filmmaker based in Easthampton, MA. His previous work includes creating, producing, and directing the docuseries “Five to Nine” for Connecticut Public Media, and serving as Director of Photography for their original music series “Amplify”. He now makes narrative shorts under the banner Arborcast Films. His second short film, “What Happens to Roadkill”, is screening this year at local, national, and international independent film festivals. His third and most recent short film, “Candy Cakes”, is currently in post-production. Joshua thinks film is the most exciting way to catch “slippery” ideas, and he can’t wait to chase the next one!
