A Co-founder of Night One Productions, Joseph Kresl has developed short films, commercials and music videos as a Director, Producer, Writer and even Cinematographer.

For many years now Joseph has been a filmmaker ever since touching his first camera in high school. He’s made multiple short films that have been in a range of genres from mainly horror to even deep dramas. While directing is his main focus, he also assists many projects in the producing role as well with his creative input and great collaboration skills. Upon graduating from Arizona State University’s Filmmaking Practices program in 2018, he has been focused on the horror narrative space trying to inject his own creative voice to a variety of projects.

Since, Joseph worked at multiple camera houses in Los Angeles for 5 years and has freelanced as a Director, Producer and Cinematographer. Recently, Joseph worked for the premiere VFX house The Mill. Meanwhile, he has developed more short and feature content with Night One Productions. He released his latest produced short film, THE MORNING AFTER (2023 dir Elijah Chandler), as well as wrapping post-production on his next directed short, THE MOON DRIPS RED (2024).
