Joselito Sering is a San Francisco-based metalhead electronic musician weaving ethereal overtones with brutal breakbeats since the early 2000's with his downtempo dark drum and bass project under the moniker, EQ!. Released as a collaboration project with co-producer, Eli Hason, the album "Journals Archive Vol 1" was released by City Massive Records and distributed by Revolver Distribution in 2003. The double vinyl release made waves after a successful mini-tour as a solo DJ/VJ in Tokyo, New York, and a breakthrough live performance appearance in London's XFM station. The promotion helped the record enter the Euro Top 100 and garnered a notch as a live electronic music performance artist for Joselito.
The prior year, Joselito embarked on writing and shooting footage for his full-length independent film, Love Letter Templates, and by 2008 had created several electronic music projects for use as a score. During that time, he also recorded several metal records including a project with his 80's punk-metal turned alternative rock band, Demented. Most remarkable are the songs which fuse his influences from his punk and metal past with his style of drum and bass. This could be sensed in his Single EP, "So It Begins, These Voices", featuring heavy guitars with eerie atmospheric harmonies.
This film is his magnum opus. It is a lifetime of work encapsulated in a true DIY underground movie. Click on the movie website link to see the full electronic press kit at https://lovelettertemplates.streamlink.to/premiere
