JB Torres Medina loves filmmaking; he is an award-winning Director, Cinematographer, Creator, Producer, and Actor based in Atlanta. JB is a U.S. Army Veteran, filmmaker, and mentor who splits his time between working as an industry Gaffer and mentoring up-and-coming filmmakers. He's directed and produced several short films which screened in film festivals and stream on ShortsTV.
After a short film festival run, his short film “The Street Lights Are On” was selected for distribution through ShortsTV, which has continued to trend top ten in the ShortsTV app. JB received the “Best Cinematographer” nomination for his Sci-Fi short film “Foodie,” and as an actor, JB won the “Best Local Actor” for the “24 Hours Film Race” in Atlanta, Georgia.
He is a Full Sail University of Florida alumni with a Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Cinematography.
