Jorge Antares
Born in Caguas, Puerto Rico in October 15,1962 as Jorge Luis Rodriguez Cruz. New York University graduate with a BFA in Film and TV. He also completed a Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law. As an actor he has dabbled in more than 40 professional works, among which stands out for its memorable roles as Jesus in "Godspell", Don Quixote in "The Man of La Mancha", Jesus in "Jesus Christ Superstar" and Yago in "Othello". In Television had outstanding participation in soup operas as "El Culpable" "Señora Tentación", "Don Amor", "Al Borde del Deseo" and "Dueña y Señora"; as well as TV films such as "Ciclón", "La Recompensa" and "La Otra Mafia". He also portrayed different characters in dramas like "Un Día Antes" and "Cuéntame Tu Historia" (WIPR Channel 6, Puerto Rico) and the comedy show "No Te Duermas" Telemundo (Puerto Rico). Among his credits for his participation in feature films include: Federico Lopez in "The Witness", Monché in "Los Domirriqueños", Senator Batista in "Los Reyes", Agent Figueroa in "Back To the Beginning" and Police Officer in "Island Heat". He also participated in american television series such as “StarUp”, “The Oath”, "The Dream Team", "Off the Road" and "StartUps " and in the Italian production "Angel & Diamonds".

As a director he worked in several theater productions in Puerto Rico: "La Cita", "Ay, María, Cuándo Serás Mía?," La Mogolla Doña Goya ", "Lo Mío es de Nacimiento", "Pum Pum", " La Navidad de la Familia Valverde", "El Arbol Que Quería Ser Más” and “Sorpresa”.
