I'm a filmmaker who is heavily interested in collaborating to create art through dance on and off screen.
Jordan James Bridge is a choreographer/performer who is very keen in exploiting the art of dance through film. Jordan has worked extensively as a performer touring nationally & internationally with well renowned contemporary dance companies; Alexander Whitley Dance Company, Tavaziva Dance, Michael Clark Company & Company Wayne McGregor. here he has been given the opportunity to not only perform on stage but also to be involved in some unique and interesting collaborative projects.
‘SOMA’, Collaboration between COS Stores and Wayne McGregor for the new menswear collection, PittiUomo.
‘Winged Bull in the Elephant Case’, recorded performance for the National Portrait Gallery, BBCTwo & BBCiPlayer, Choreography by Wayne McGregor.
‘This Is Not A Show’, Collaboration between Nick Knight, Gareth Pugh & Wayne McGregor for SS18 London Fashion Week.
‘+/- HUMAN’, Choreography by Wayne McGregor in collaboration with The Royal Ballet & Random International, Roundhouse London.
This all has given him the experience and a passion to collaborate with like minded people to see how things unfold in the creative process. As a filmmaker, Jordan has just recently released his latest film titled 'Us'. This is a duet between two women that has a loose narrative base, yet is completely showcased through the medium of contemporary dance.
Jordan is excited to collaborate with more artists and share movement through the body as a stimulus to create for screen.
