Jonah Castañeda Barry is a Chicano experimental multimedia artist currently located in Minneapolis, MN. He has a passion for direction, sound design, cinematography and editing. His work has been featured in and displayed at Midwest Weirdfest as a semi-finalist, Stereogum, The Current’s “Friday Five”, ACM Film Festival’s “Best of The Midwest” screening, The Milwaukee Short Film Festival, The Experimental Forum in Los Angeles, FilmNorth’s Cinema Lounge, Merit Thursday’s Weird Stuff Only, and The Critical Edge Film Series, among others.

He is a semiprofessional distance runner, a product photography & E-Commerce media manager and at Mill City Running, a cinephile, a noise music producer, a community organizer, a member of the DSA, and the sole guardian of a cute cat named Moco.
